Gaststatte Waldhaus in Zingst

On vacation it is usually not that easy to find a good eatery. At the hotspots and sights you will usually find a poorer quality. The Waldhaus in Zingst, located in a "holiday park", is a bit off the beaten track. Here, however, good "home cooking" is on offer and at a reasonable price. I had a grill plate on the BBQ evening for 10 €, you really can't complain about that. The rest of the menu also looks good. The hosts are really nice and it's always a bit like being invited to a private home with friends. Therefore 3 stars for the food and one for the hospitality. Thanks a lot for this :)

We have been coming to Zingst regularly for many years. Visits to the forest house are a "must". Quaint guest house, with great attention to detail. The landlady and her husband are a well-rehearsed team and leave nothing to be desired. The food is delicious. Thank you, dear Dani and Axel, for sweetening our wedding day with a successful surprise. We already miss you. See you soon??

I have come here several times and have always loved the Waldhaus. The food is amazing and the owners are super friendly and warm ... The Waldhaus belongs to Zingst as much as the Baltic Sea! If you haven't been here, you've missed something.

I'm a bit biased, but there's nothing wrong with this. The dishes are super delicious (not to mention the barbecue in summer), the kitchen is brisk despite all the cosiness that the inn makes you feel. And dedicated, lovable staff who always try to respond to guests' requests. Advance reservations for more than 4 people are recommended. And then just let it taste.

A cozy little restaurant in the holiday park. Are there as breakfast guests. Super delicious breakfast with everything on holiday is important and all for the unbeatable price of 8.50 per person. So highly recommended and very nice hosts.

We like to think back to this year's family reunion on the men's weekend. We were 18 people - 18 different requests day after day ... But the always friendly landlady in the Waldhaus conjured us in a pleasant family atmosphere every day a delicious breakfast - varied and delicious, always with the attention to detail. At any time we would like to be pampered again for schnitzel or barbecue - all freshly prepared and in a surprising variety. Thank you the friendly Gastwirtsehepaar that we were allowed to meet.
